Startups from all over the world have been battling over the past few months to win a spot in this International Final. On the 21st of November the eight best will battle in Medellín, Colombia for the title of Most Promising Startup of the Year. The goal of Get in the Ring is to put startups in the spotlight, giving them a global podium from which to connect with investors and create a fan base.

Startups literally face off against each other in the ring. During five brief rounds they present their startup to a jury of Champion investors, and an audience of potential investors and fans, in a competition that can result in a potential investment for the winner. Their goal? Become the World most promising startup of Get in the Ring.

Get in the Ring is a worldwide competition were startups face off against each other in one-on-one pitching battles. In 2015 over 5000 startups will compete in Get in the Ring. This year, all Get in the Ring participants will need to survive multiple selection rounds to reach the International Final in the Colombia. Through national selection rounds in over 80 countries, and finals in each region of the world, the most promising startups will come together in Medellín, Colombia on March 15th to compete in the International Final. Five Champion investors and an audience of business angels, VC’s, entrepreneurs and captains of industry, will decide which startup will win the title of World Champion, taking home the coveted championship award – and hopefully an investment.
